Crispy, Prawn Cutlet Burger Recipe is so delicious! Two fluffy, toasted butter brioche buns with crispy and plump Shrimp patty, slightly melted cheese, and fresh organic lettuce. This is a marriage in heaven!

- Prawn
- Chili Powder
- Onion Powder

- Cornstarch

Pro-Tips for this prawn cutlet Burger Recipe:
- Use frozen Shrimp or Prawn, i would cook fresh shrimps or prawns differently.
- Customize the ingredients to your liking. Some people may add Tomato, onion in the burger. However, I like to keep it simple
- Adding egg white helps the texture, but you can skip the egg white if you don’t like it.
- This is perfect for pescetarians, and if you are tried of beef patties, give this a try! I am sure you will like it.
- Get good qualty brioche buns! Good buns will make the experience a lot better. You can only get this qualty at home. LOL
- I also made fries to go with the burger. Spoil myself once in a while. LOL

How to make Prawn Cutlet?
Put all the seasonings, including shrimps, chili powder, onion powder, minced garlic, cornstarch, sugar, egg white, parsley, lemon zest in a Food processor, mix until combined. Remove the paste, form a patty, then coat with panko. deep-fry until golden brown.
This is very easy to make and absolutely delicious. My hubby even said one burger is not enough. LOL
How to make tartar sauce for this Prawn cutlet Burger Recipe?
My version of tartar sauce is not authentic, but this is delicious.
- boiled egg – roughly chopped into small pieces
- mayonnise
- chopped onion – soaked into water
- Yellow Mustard
- Lemon Juice
- Black Pepper
Mix all these together, adjust the proportion to your liking. I personally like to use more mayonnaise, but a little bit of mustard. I love the creaminess mayonnaise gives!
I didn’t add any pickles or capers because I don’t usually have them in the fridge. Feel Free to add them if you have them on hand!

Equipment
Ingredients
- 12 Prawns/ Shrimps
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 egg white
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- Some lemon Zest
- Panko
- Vegetable Oil
- Brioche buns
Instructions
- Put prawns, chili powder, minced garlic, onion powder, chopped parsley, egg white, cornstarch, and lemon zest in a food processor, mix until combined.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep-fryer, deep-fry until golden brown, flip occassionally.
- In the meantime, toast and butter brioche buns.
- Remove the shrimp culet and drain excess oil on a kitchen paper
- Assemble the burger.
