  • Trim off the shrimp eyes, legs, and whiskers.
  • Rinse the shrimp under running water.
  • Dice garlic and shallot.
  • Mix the sauce by combining ketchup. sugar. soy sauce, dark soy sauce, vinegar, worchestershire sauce,and pepper.
  • Heat a frying pan, add oil.
  • Pan sear both sides of the shrimp, then side them aside.
  • Add a little bit of oil to the pan again, stir-fry garlic and shallot.
  • Add cooking wine, and let it evaporate.
  • Add the sauce mixture and cook it for a minute.
  • Add the shrimp back to the pan. Coat every shrimp with the sauce.
  • Cover with a lid and let it steam for 1-2 minutes.
  • Transfer the shrimp to a serving plate.
  • Drizzle the sauce on.
  • Garnish with green onion.
  • Enjoy.
